Описание: As Billy Budd snoozes in his nearby hammock, the HMS Indomitable's master-at-arms, John Claggart, plots the young sailor's demise. In Billy, Claggart sees everything he's not — beauty, handsomeness, goodness — and he feels it is his destiny to stamp out the love and light that Billy represents, in order to maintain the hellish sense of order he's cultivated aboard the ship. Bass-baritone Christian Van Horn stars as Claggart in this fiery retelling of Benjamin Britten's masterpiece, "Billy Budd," on stage until September 22, 2019.
