This video documents my entire glaucoma eye appointment from start to finish—including vision testing, eye pressure readings, visual field testing, imaging scans, and my final exam with the ophthalmologist.
My eye pressure readings were extremely high (high 20s to mid-30s), which is a serious reminder of why staying consistent with eye drops and routine eye exams is critical—especially when living with glaucoma or at risk for vision loss.
I’m sharing this experience as part of my medical advocacy journey, to demystify what a glaucoma appointment actually looks like and to encourage others to take their eye health seriously. Glaucoma is often called the silent thief of sight because symptoms can go unnoticed until damage is done.
