It’s been a while, but One Simple Trick Is Here! and it’s such a great album. I think it’s the best piece of art Lovejoy has made thus far. I’m a bit late to the party since I’ve been busy with academics and stuff. As soon as I listened to “Baptism,” its style really stood out to me, so I wanted to cover it.
I especially love Wilbur’s backing vocals towards the end, so I tried overdubbing them in this cover. Also, in the last verse, i should be saying “I see someone else,” but I digress.
