Fnaf, una franquicia que sigo desde el 2015, con unos personajes e historia que mas que aterrarme, salvo excepciones, me fascinaron y siguen fascinándome hoy en día. Además, gracias a un video sobre la franquicia del oso animatronico fue el pistoletazo de salida, el detonante para que mi canal comenzase a crecer. Asi que, ciertamente estoy en deuda con Freddy y con su creador. Scott, después de todo lo que pasaste, de tus altibajos, sigues sorprendiéndonos (y cambiando el lore cada 3 días). No me quiero ni imaginar lo que será de Freddy y su pandilla sin ti. Gracias, simplemente, gracias...

Fnaf, a franchise that I have followed since 2015, with characters and history that more than terrify me, except for a few exceptions, they fascinated me and continue to fascinate me today. Furthermore, thanks to a video about the animatronic bear franchise, it was the starting signal, the trigger for my channel to begin to grow. So, I am certainly indebted to Freddy and his creator. Scott, after everything you've been through, your ups and downs, you continue to surprise us (and change the lore every 3 days). ¿Qué es Fnaf RETRO?
Es una versión de Five Nights at Freddy’s que sigue muy de cerca los acontecimientos de los juegos y toma algunos de los headcanones más populares de la comunidad como canon. Los libros por otra parte, casi en su totalidad, no forman parte de la historia. Salvo los relatos que no tengan una gran repercusión en la historia principal o no la desmoronen tanto. Además esta versión cuenta con algunas libertades creativas por parte de su servidora, cambiando algunas situaciones por otras, pero que al final acaban desembocando en lo mismo que todos conocemos, y algunos diseños de personajes curiosos.

El punto más llamativo de Fnaf RETRO sería su estilo visual el cual intenta replicar de la manera más fidedigna posible las películas animadas de los años 80, más concretamente el estilo del animador y director estadounidense Don Bluth, pero toma también inspiración en el trabajo del artista Kosperry, el creador original de varios de los diseños y el encargado de hacer popular este tipo de arte.


A pesar de que pueda sonar que se está endulzando una franquicia de “terror” con un estilo de dibujo infantil, lo cierto es que no es así. Como ya mencioné antes, los acontecimientos siguen siendo los mismos, las mordidas, las atrocidades de William, las almas, los incendios, el Scooper, el remanente… son partes que existen en Fnaf RETRO. Convertir algo en un dibujo animado no es lo mismo que infantilizarlo.

What is Fnaf RETRO?
It is a version of Five Nights at Freddy's that closely follows the events of the games and takes some of the most popular headcanons in the community as canon. The books on the other hand, almost entirely, are not part of the story. Except for the stories that don't have a big impact on the main story or don't crumble it that much. In addition, this version has some creative liberties on the part of yours truly, changing some situations for others, but that in the end end up leading to the same thing we all know, and some curious character designs.

The most striking point of Fnaf RETRO would be its visual style which tries to replicate as faithfully as possible the animated films of the 80's, more specifically the style of American animator and director Don Bluth, but it also takes inspiration from the work of the artist Kosperry, the original creator of several of the designs and the person in charge of making this type of art popular.

Although it may sound like a "horror" franchise is being sugarcoated with a children's cartoon style, the truth is that this is not the case. As I mentioned before, the events remain the same, the bites, William's atrocities, the souls, the fires, the Scooper, the remnant... these are all parts that exist in Fnaf RETRO. Turning something into a cartoon is not the same as infantilizing it.
