Описание: Monday, August 23, 2021 - Stop & Shop celebrates the 100th Birthday of WWII veteran Bartholomeo Ficeto affectionately known as “Benny the Bagger” who started working at Stop & Shop nearly twelve years ago in Bloomfield, NJ. He transferred to the Edison store about 4 years ago and continued to work there up until the pandemic hit. A special Veterans parking space was unveiled with his name on it in a brief ceremony, but then Benny was led inside the store for a surprise birthday celebration, including a performance by America's Sweethearts NYC singing WWII-era songs.
