A glimpse of the Handcraft Exhibition held at our school, organized by the Handloom and Textile Department, showcasing the rich creativity and skills of local artisans and craft makers.
In this exhibition, various craftsmen displayed and demonstrated their unique works, including:
Traditional toy making
Beautiful embroidery work
Creative bamboo crafts
Artistic face mask making
Other handmade and indigenous crafts
Along with showcasing their crafts, the artisans also delivered resourceful and informative talks to our Tourism and Hospitality students, helping them understand the cultural, economic, and tourism value of handicrafts.
This exhibition provided students with real-world exposure to:
Heritage and cultural tourism
Artisan entrepreneurship
Sustainable livelihoods
The importance of handicrafts in tourism development
