It's Springtime my Friends!!! It is also BBQ Season, Crawfish Season, Graduation Season, and more!! So why not start Spring off with a refreshing Drink that would be perfect for Backyard BBQs, Crawfish Boils, and Graduation Parties. My Lemon-Limeade is so delicious and full of Fresh Ingredients!!
2 cups white sugar
2 cups water
1 gallon (16 cups) cold water
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
1 lemon and 1 lime, sliced
1 lemon and 1 lime, wedges for garnish
Ice, for glasses
Note: Make sure you taste to see if it needs more Sugar.
Make a simple syrup by adding the sugar and water to a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over low heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves, then remove from the heat and set aside to cool.
Add a gallon of cold water and the lemon and lime juice to a large pitcher. Add the simple syrup and the lemon and lime slices. Stir well. Pour the lemon-limeade into tall glasses filled with ice. Garnish the rims with lemon and lime wedges and enjoy icy cold!
