12 Days Round Scotland by Rail

In November of 2024 (what took me so long?) I travelled around Scotland using Scotrail's Spirit of Scotland Pass.
The pass, apart from Scotrail's extensive network, also covers some bus and ferry routes, as well as the Glasgow Transit and Edinburgh tram.
I bought the pass from the ticket counter in Carlisle, England (even though it was not a Scotrail counter) as the coverage starts in Carlisle.
I saw the Scottish Highlands (passing through Crianlarich, Glenfinnan, Fort William), took the Jacobite Train towards the Isle of Skye, hit Pitlochry and the Central Highlands around Cairngorms.
The following was my route:

28:58 Kyle - Inverness

39:11 Aberdeen - Broughty Ferry
40:07 St. Andrews
41:30 Central Highlands
47:27 Monifieth - Dundee
49:57 Dundee - Perth
51:36 Perth - Stirling
55:42 Stirling - Edinburgh
59:33 Edinburgh Castle
1:04:20 Dean Village
From Edinburgh Waverly station, I took the train back to London.
