Welcome to the start of an exciting new journey!
I’m Laura from Laura Carter Canines — a professional dog trainer with over 15 years of experience, now stepping into the world of ferrets for the very first time.
In this video, I introduce you to Panda and Slinky, two ferret brothers born in May 2025, and share my plans for their training.
Although ferrets can go for walks, their exercise needs are very different from dogs. What they do need is just as much mental stimulation and enrichment to truly thrive. I’ll be drawing on my background in dog training (plus past adventures training meerkats, cats, and even chickens!) to teach them scent work and fun games from my Wags Without Walks membership.
