Bring the spirit of Thanksgiving into your home with this detailed scroll saw project! In this video, I cut the "We Are Thankful" pumpkin pattern from half-inch red oak using a #5 Pegas Modified Geometry blade. Along the way, I share scroll saw techniques for making fine detail cuts, for cutting letters cleanly, and tricks for navigating sharp corners and tight spaces.
This is a beautiful fall or holiday decoration project that's challenging, but very rewarding. It's perfect for scroll sawyers with some experience who want to improve their skills while creating a seasonal piece that will look great on any wall.
