This is a very early version of the 1998 "Shut 'Em Down" album track "Rob & Vic". There is an even earlier version with a rock beat to it. This was the later version, however it was changed by the time "Shut Em Down" hit shelves because Onyx could not get sample clearance as the beat is sampling a music track from the 1990 Christopher Walken film "The King of New York". I personally prefer this version out of all 3 of them. The one that ultimately made it to "Shut Em Down" was very good, but I still prefer this more dramatic beat personally.
This version WAS on the Shut Em Down advance promo copy, however the mixing quality was pretty poor and the drums were way too distorted due to volume irregularities. I managed to find this on a DAT tape, before the mixing issues were done to the song, so this is the best quality of this rare song that will ever exist!
