Our ministry will assist STS members in and around the Central Florida area to aid them in starting up their garden or to help and make suggestions to those who already have an established garden. The gospel is not just theoretical but also practical and we delight in offering support to those who may not have experience with gardening.
Gardening is an excellent choice with far-reaching benefits. While you will have a source of inexpensive, fresh veggies, you will also have complete control of how they are grown. Not only will you have food on hand, but you can plant a surplus and store it for later use.
With all the delicious benefits, a good start is to consider the location of your garden, the tools you'll need, the plants to include and their companions, a schedule for watering, weeding, feeding, and garden area whether beds or containers.
Grow what you eat and eat and share what you grow!
