In this video, we explore Girnar Hills, Ambaji Temple, Guru Dattatreya Temple and other important places in Junagadh.

Here’s everything we covered:

DAY 1 – Junagadh Local Sightseeing

1️. Khapra Kodiya Caves
Part of the Junagadh Buddhist Cave Group and considered the oldest caves of the group.

Timings: 8 AM – 6 PM
Entry Fee: ₹20

2️. Narsinh Mehta No Choro
A small temple believed to be the place where 15th-century poet Saint Narsinh Mehta witnessed Lord Krishna’s divine dance.

DAY 2 – Girnar & Nearby Attractions

1️. Girnar Hills
We took the Girnar Ropeway to reach Ambaji Temple and then trekked further towards Guru Dattatreya Temple.

Ropeway Timings: 7 AM – 5 PM

2️. Bhavnath Taleti
A very old and popular temple in Junagadh.

3️. Damodar Kund
A sacred Hindu reservoir located at the foothills of Girnar, believed to offer moksha for departed souls. There is also an old and famous temple here.

4️. Ashok Shilalekh
Ashoka’s Rock Edicts dating back to 250 BC, featuring 14 inscriptions located on the route to Girnar Hills.

Timings: 8 AM – 6 PM
Entry Fee: ₹5

5️. Willingdon Dam
A historic reservoir inaugurated in 1936 near Girnar. A peaceful place for family outings, best visited in the evening.

🚕 Commute Information
We pre-booked an auto from Girnar Ropeway covering all major nearby places for approximately ₹400.
We also used Rapido from our hotel to Girnar Ropeway.
