Introducing the Pathways to Work Evidence Clearinghouse

Описание: Now more than ever, leaders and operators of programs for job seekers with low incomes need evidence on the interventions and strategies that can help their clients succeed in the labor market. On Wednesday, July 15, 2020, we unveiled the Pathways to Work Evidence Clearinghouse, a new resource funded by the Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation in the Administration for Children & Families that has been designed to meet the needs of employment service providers and support the use of evidence-based practices. Watch the video to discover how this accessible and reliable tool can support program leaders and policymakers who work to improve employment and economic outcomes for families. It includes a virtual tour of the Pathways Clearinghouse website. After the tour, we discussed how the site: (1) provides free, reliable, and accessible information about what works to help job seekers with low incomes find and sustain employment; (2) identifies interventions designed to improve employment outcomes, reduce employment challenges, and support self-sufficiency for people with low incomes; and (3) offers a useful tool for making decisions about interventions and services.
We also explored how the COVID-19 pandemic has influenced the way providers of employment services search for evidence and can use the Pathways Clearinghouse as a new resource.
