I am finally getting the chance to do my no spoiler review of The Winter King by Bernard Cornwell! Bernard Cornwell's The Winter King is book 1 in The Warlord Chronicles series which is a historical fantasy story that is told from the perspective of a great character named Derfel and is an Arthurian Tale. The Winter King is a terrific first entry to a series and I will definitely be continuing the Warlord Chronicles trilogy. Bernard Cornwell impressed me with The Winter King and I am looking forward to also reading The Last Kingdom because I LOVED that tv show.
