There is no good reason why goods made with highly reliable electronic devices should fail after a short time. It all comes down to design and assembly.
This "100W" (actually, 14 watt) LED lamp failed prematurely and I wanted to find out why. It was a surprise to me!
In this video I eliminate each section until I find the problem. The schematic diagram for this lamp is included.
