1) (a+b)2 = a2 + 2ab + b2
2) (a-b)2 = a2 - 2ab + b2
3) a2+b2 = (a+b)2 – 2ab
4) a2+b2 = (a-b)2 + 2ab
5) (a+b)2 = (a-b)2 + 4ab
6) (a-b)2 = (a+b)2 - 4ab
7) a2-b2 = (a+b)(a-b)
8) (x+a)(x+b) = x2 + (a+b)x + ab
8) 2(a2+b2) = (a+b)2 + (a-b)2
9) 4ab = (a+b)2 - (a-b)2
Or, ab = {(a+b)/2}2 - {(a+b)/2}2
