The Audain Art Museum’s (AAM) Tuesday Night Talks offered a unique opportunity for online participants to simultaneously enter the Museum during the evening and the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa.
Hosted by the Museum’s Director & Chief Curator Dr. Curtis Collins, this ninth and final episode of TNT’s Season 1 features a conversation with Sasha Suda, Director & CEO of the National Gallery of Canada (NGC), alongside Kitty Scott, Deputy Director & Chief Curator, live from the NGC’s Conservation Labs. Suda offers an overview of 'The Extended Moment: Fifty Years of Collecting Photographs at the National Gallery of Canada' now on display at the Audain Art Museum until October 18th, while Scott follows with a glimpse of recent historic and contemporary art acquisitions at the NGC. Episode nine concludes with a sneak peek of the National Gallery of Canada’s plans for major contemporary art installations throughout the Moshe Safdi designed building on Sussex Drive near Parliament Hill.
TNT Season 2 is currently in development for Tuesday evenings at 8pm from January 5th to March 2nd, 2021.
