The building dates back to 1937 and was originally The towns first cinema. During it's time as Ballroom , it has hosted some of the biggest names in showbiz
It closed in 1963 and reopened as a bingo hall in 1965.
The late Joe Narey bought and renovated the building in 1981 when it was refurbished and converted to a dance hall.
