Gameplay of the secret character Akuma in X Men vs Street Fighter.

Akuma is, once more, a character who is hidden in the most basic sense of the word. I remember playing this game in the arcade, and it blew my mind to be able to select him by moving off the cursor off of the screen. I'm not quite sure why Capcom decided to have it like that (and not have him be unlockable or some such), but it's quite neat. This also meant that the Capcom side had a hidden character, while the X-Men side had a boss character. It makes sense therefore that they put Cyber Akuma into Marvel vs Street Fighter, to even things out. Anyway, Akuma is more or less the same as he always is. He deals quite a lot of damage, and is easy to combo with, but his defences are awful. He's more or less dead if the opponent gets a few combos landed on you. Otherwise, he's pretty much just the same as he always was, just made more acrobatic to be in line with the other characters in this game.
