The 2019 Honda Civic Type R is the first Civic Type R to arrive in the Philippines, and it was sold for only a limited time. The 2020 Civic Type R we got here is the pre-facelift model, since Honda Philippines did not bring in anymore of the facelifted Honda Civic Type R. In this Filipino car review, I get to live with the 2020 Honda Civic Type R for one week to see what its like to drive. The 2022 Honda Civic is just around the corner, and it is nice to know that Honda created a 2023 Honda Civic Type R as well based on the 11th generation Civic. The 2021 Honda Civic Type R is one of the friendliest performance cars now, even better than the outgoing 2020 Subaru WRX STi. The Honda Civic Type R may have a front wheel drive layout, but Honda tuned the aerodynamics and suspension to efficiently put the power down.
