Ruth Chapel Grieder (1927-2016) was born on Nantucket, spending the summers of her infancy and early years on Tuckernuck in the 1930s. Ruth can trace back five generations of her family born and raised on Tuckernuck and shares her memories of 'living in paradise" along with memories of her family. This excerpt is taken from a 2007 oral history interview for the Nantucket Historical Association.
