The Imperial Hotel - New Delhi, was opened in 1936 and was the first hotel in New Delhi. This hotel have 3 resturants ;
The Spice Route (Thai/EastAsian Cusine)
1911 Resturant (Art-Deco Style, Indian Cusine)
San Gamignano (Italian Cusine)
The Imperial Patisserie ( Cake Shop )
So we visited The Spice Route and the food was good if you know what to order and if you like the taste of Thai/South Indian food. The real attraction of The Spice Route is it's architecture that includes mural art, ancient temple pillars and awe-inspiring philosophy, visible across nine intriguing storied sections to the open courtyard.
It is quite costly as it can cost around Rs.6000 for two person dinner. Also we went on the occassion of a birthday and they didn't even provided any complimentary cake or anything, So be sure to not expect any such surprise from their side.
