Mass Production: This type of mold is ideal for high-volume manufacturing where millions of parts are needed, leading to a lower cost per part over time.

Identical Parts: In a true "multi-cavity" mold, every cavity produces an identical component. This is different from a "family mold," which produces different, but often related, parts in one cycle.

Complex Engineering: Designing a multi-cavity mold requires careful engineering to ensure that the molten material flows evenly into all cavities, maintaining consistent pressure and quality across every single part.
