今回は、埼玉県の鐘撞堂山にある古峯神社にお詣りしてきました。
レンガ造りの神社があると聞き、珍しさからお詣りしに行くことにしました。
AIによると古峯神社は、埼玉県寄居町、深谷市、美里町にまたがる標高330.2mの鐘撞堂山にあり、この山は戦国時代には鉢形城の見張り場で敵襲などを鐘の合図で知らせた歴史が名前の由来だそうです。山頂からは関東平野や都心、筑波山を一望できる人気のハイキングスポットだそうです。春は桜やツツジ、秋は紅葉が美しく、登山道もよく整備されていることから登山初心者や子供連れの登山にも適しているそうです。
I paid a visit to Furumine Shrine on Mount Kanetsukido in Saitama Prefecture.
I had heard of a brick shrine and, out of curiosity, decided to pay it a visit.
Furumine Shrine is located on Mount Kanetsukido, 330.2 meters above sea level, straddling the towns of Yorii, Fukaya, and Misato in Saitama Prefecture. The mountain's name comes from its history as a lookout point for Hachigata Castle during the Sengoku period, where a bell was rung to warn of enemy attacks. It's a popular hiking spot offering panoramic views of the Kanto Plain, central Tokyo, and Mount Tsukuba from the summit. The cherry blossoms and azaleas in spring and the autumn foliage are beautiful, and the well-maintained hiking trails make it a great choice for beginners and those with children.
