How to Measure Lines and Areas in a PDF File

Описание: How to measure the distance of a line or area of a shape in a PDF document using the measure tool in Adobe Acrobat Reader.

The measuring tool enables you to create a red line that marks two different points on the PDF file and returns a distance value based on the unit type in the Adobe preferences. Additionally the measuring tool can be extended for uses such as perimeter and area where line segments are drawn until the head of the last segment connects to the tail of the first segment.

There is also a ruler function that can be enabled in the view tab under rulers and grids which will add rulers to the left hand side and top side of the document.
