So yeah, I started my first try by charging in with my knights and got thoroughly spanked by the ranged attacks. This time, I held back for a little while and let Mustadio and Agrias be meat shields for long enough that the enemies were in a closer range and the battle went much better.
Knights-Only Single-Class Challenge Run
Rules:
Entire party must be the same job class
Party must attain job before Dorter Trade City and remain in that class
Characters cannot use any other abilities of any other classes at all
Chapter 2 level cap: level 35
