Team Report:
This is my second time using a Bastiodon team, having seen its potential already during Reg G as a great support mon with Wide Guard, Foul Play and Roar. This version uses Iron Defense and Body Press (basically a mini Zamazenta) combined with Roar Throat Spray Farigiraf and a sneaky Tailroom Whimsicott to make sure that no matter the matchup, you always dictate the pace of battle.

The restricted mons of choice are of course Miraidon and Calyrex Ice Rider (this team has been in testing for about 3 weeks so I'd like to point out I WAS ahead of the curve lmao) with lots of Discharge synergies thanks to Wide Guard and Tera Ground Farig and Whims. Ursaluna has Fling as an option to neuter physical attackers like Urshifu, Iron Hands and Zamazenta that can give the team struggle.

Only Bastiodon is minimum speed out of the bunch, with Ursaluna hitting 51 speed, Farigiraf at 58 and Calyrex at 63. Personally I like not having to deal with speed ties and these speed tiers still let the team combo with Ice Rider to give it its boosts in trick room while also outspeeding the trick room mirror match outside of it. Bastiodon speed ties with min speed Amoonguss. Also of note is Whimsicott is Modest max special attack, so it can underspeed or outspeed in TR or Tailwind according to what is most effective vs your matchup.

Hope you enjoy the team if you try it! Bastiodon, Farigiraf and Ursaluna are some of my favourite mons so I'm just glad to watch them pop off from time to time.
