CH-2 – GitHub Codespace Setup | AWS EKS Security Masterclass with OWASP EKS Goat

Описание: In this chapter, we move from AWS console to your development environment. Learn how to fork the OWASP EKS Goat repository and set up GitHub Codespaces to deploy and manage the EKS lab.

In this video you will:
Fork the official OWASP EKS Goat repository into your own GitHub account
Create a GitHub Codespace on the main branch
Navigate into the eks folder and verify all required lab files
Make the pre_deploy.sh script executable and source it inside Codespaces
Configure AWS CLI using the IAM user’s Access Key and Secret Access Key
Set the correct AWS region (e.g. us-west-2) for the lab
Validate the configuration with aws sts get-caller-identity
Confirm that your Codespace is ready for the next chapters of the EKS Security Masterclass
