Seminar Description: Dr. Garavan will present research from a large (n=2,000) longitudinal neuroimaging study of adolescent development (https://imagen-europe.com) with a specific focus on cannabis use. Exploiting the large sample size and the longitudinal assessments, Dr. Garavan will describe multi-modal predictors of cannabis use and will present evidence of accelerated cortical thinning arising from cannabis use between years 14 and 19.
