In this beginner class, we cover some warm up poses to get the wrists and shoulders ready for Bakasana (Crane). Then after warming the body in Utkatasana, we work into squats from Utkatasana, to prepare the hips.
Marichyasana is a wonderful pose to stretch the body and also get that shin-arm contact required in Bakasana. Then we work into Malasana and finally Bakasana. Adho Mukha Virasana and cross bolsters are a wonderful release after this short practice, ending with a welcome Savasana.
