In this project, I demonstrate how to connect Ignition SCADA with a Siemens S7-1500 PLC (SIM) and monitor process values and alarms.
The system shows how local control, PLC programming, and remote SCADA visualization work together in industrial automation.
Project Overview:
PLC: Siemens S7-1500 (Simulated with PLCSIM)
SCADA: Ignition
Objective: Display process values and alarms in SCADA, integrating local and remote control
Main Features:
Connecting Ignition SCADA with S7-1500 PLC via OPC UA
Creating SCADA alarms to monitor process events
Displaying process values (like tank levels, motor speed, etc.) in SCADA
Understanding the concept of Local Machine Control, PLC programming, and Remote SCADA monitoring
Result:
