Описание: Donkeys are mentioned many times in the Bible as beasts of burden, and are portrayed as humble, hardworking animals that faithfully serve people. On what Christians now celebrate as Palm Sunday, Jesus rode a donkey from the Mount of Olives into Jerusalem, and the crowds were shouting their praises of Him. This took place to fulfill the prophecy made by Zechariah more than 500 years before. Jesus fulfilled this prophecy, coming as the perfect, humble, servant King, the Messiah.
