The drum kit is actually a collection of many different instruments, so if you’re learning to play the drum kit you are learning to be a multi-instrumentalist! And quite unlike most other instruments, you will often use all four of your limbs to play it.
In this lesson I’ll introduce you to the different parts of the drum kit one at a time and show you how each drum appears within written music.
