Winter Drive with Toyo Open Country M/Ts. Still the Best tires for my Jeep Gladiator Overland Build

We installed a set of ‪@fittipaldiwheels‬ FB-151 Series Bead-locks in preparation of the Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion and Overland Expo East. We also installed a New set of ‪@toyotires‬ 40x13.50R17 Load Range C Open Country Mud Terrains (MTs) on the Jeep Gladiator EcoDiesel.

Long before our partnership with Team Toyo USA, I had already spent a lot of money over the years on Tires.

In 2012 I installed my first set of Toyo M/Ts on my 2006 Ram 3500 Mega Cab, I've lived in Kansas, Missouri, Kentucky and North Carolina. I don't drive in the snow everyday like some folks up north that get Arctic blizzards or Lake effect snow, but the MT's definitely handle better in the Snow, Mud, and Sand than any other tire I've run.

There is a total of 8.4lbs difference between the 37x13.50R17 (Load range E) Tires with Weights and Steel Wheels Compared to the 40x13.50R17 Toyos with Fittipaldi 151 Series Beadlocks.

In Height the 37s are a true 37.0" Tire when fully inflated compared to the 39.7" 40s. That means there is only a difference in 2.7" in diameter or 1.35" in Radius. I've always known Toyos are Heavy due to the thick sidewalls and heavy duty construction.
