Hermanos Herrera, featuring Regional Mexican music endorsed by the Smithsonian Folkways label. Direct from Fillmore, California, This amazing family band performed live for us on May 11, 2019. This is an all acoustic concert in the living room of a California farm house performed in front of a packed house. United by blood and through Music, Hermanos Herrera have established themselves as the future of Regional Mexican music. Youthful exuberance, authenticity, and a refreshing image are the characteristics that will propel Hermanos Herrera and the Regional Mexican genre into new heights. Hermanos Herrera is a family group consisting of five brothers and their younger sister. Jorge Andrés, Violin, requinto, acordeón; Luis albino, Huapanguera, jarana, bajo sexto; Miguel Antonio, Jarana, tololoche; Juan Pablo, Jarana, guitar, snare; Jose Marcelino, Harp, sax; Rebeca Isabel, Jarana, congas.
