Former President Bill Clinton said he did nothing wrong and did not see any signs of Jeffrey Epstein's abuses in his opening statement to lawmakers investigating the convicted sex offender.
Clinton’s deposition is the first time a former president has been compelled to testify before Congress. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sat with lawmakers for hours on Thursday.
“I had no idea of the crimes Epstein was committing. No matter how many photos you show me, I have two things at the end of the day matter more than your interpretation of those 20-year old photos,” he said in his opening statement. “I saw nothing, and I did nothing wrong.”
