This video, is an introductory video.
The video is introducing a new venture I am hoping to do.
I am going to have an attempt at building a :-
B R Standard Class 4 4-6-0 Tender Locomotive with a B R 2 Tender.
The model will be built to a scale of 1.54 for running on 7.25" gauge railways.
The Locomotive will be a model of No. 75029 named "The Green Knight".
The full size locomotive is still in existence, and currently resides at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.
The full size locomotive is currently undergoing restoration at the N Y M R.
I have very limited model engineering experience ( I consider myself a beginner).
I also have very limited machinery to do the project with.
I hope that during this project I can improve my modeling techniques and skills, and hope to upgrade the machinery and tooling which I currently own.
I hope to film and slide show aspects of the build, in a series of videos.
The video series will be based at beginner level, so I will try to explain things for beginners, so please excuse this fact (if any viewers are experienced Model Engineers).
