We asked a group of guys and their families to share their experience of testicular cancer and germ cell cancer from diagnosis to through to survivorship.

This video focuses the surveillance and what that means to them. Some guys whose cancer has been removed with the operation, will enter a programme of surveillance which involves visits with blood tests, scans and examinations. Some need surveillance after their treatment has been completed.

This time is described as both reassuring and anxiety causing. Some feel it is a time where they are being looked after, but some describe the worry that the cancer has the potential to come back.
