Doing this is a challenge in the new Grand Prix that will grant you 500 nitro points plus bonuses. In fact, you should complete two challenges doing this, since there's also one where you only have to "complete successfully a relic race" on this track, but I didn't get that one. If this wasn't considered a success, I don't know what is.
There are no super hard to get boxes, but there's a lot of them, so getting them all in one go is a solid challenge. The platinum time is pretty lenient, so you're allowed some mistakes.
