​Joint teams of North West District arrested 03 wanted accused persons namely (1) Sahil S/o Sheru Khan R/o Village Kakod, Teh- Sikandrabad, Distt. Bulandsher, U.P., Age- 22years, (2) Mohd Faiyaaz @ Allen S/o Laaj Mohd R/o Rajeev Nagar, Bhalswa Dairy, Delhi, Age- 25 years & (3) Deepak S/o Zaalim Ram R/o Bakoli, Alipur, Delhi, Age- 32 years. • Brief Facts & Incident Details:-
​On 25.02.25, an information regarding gunshot injury was received at PS Ashok Vihar. On this information, Police Staff reached at DCB hospital where doctor declared the injured Saroj Pathak S/o Sh. Jitender Kumar Pathak R/o Shalimar Village, Delhi, Age-45 years brought dead. Post Mortem of deceased was conducted. Deceased Saroj Pathak was working as a cashier in Factory no A-100/1, A Block, WPIA PS Ashok Vihar area. He was carrying cash from factory to Shalimar Bagh on his scooty.
​A case vide FIR No. 67/2025 u/s 103(1)/309(4) BNS was registered at PS Ashok Vihar and investigation was taken up.

Vihar, Inspr. Madan Mohan I/C Narcotics comprising of ASI Devender, HC Rajeev, HC Narsi, HC Satya Narender, HC Somveer, HC Sachin, HC Joginder, HC Harish & W/Ct. Dolly of Special Staff, SI Sachin I/C PP WPIA, SI Ravi Shankar, HC Manoj, HC Karanpal of PS Ashok Vihar, SI Ravi Saini, SI Akashdeep, ASI Sanjay, HC Parmjeet, HC Parminder, HC Pardeep, HC Mohit, Ct. Karan, Ct. Sagar, Ct. Uttam, Ct. Omprakash & W/Ct Aarti of AATS, ASI Sukhvir Singh, HC Sunil Kumar & HC Sri Bhagwan of Narcotics under the leadership of Sh. Ranjeet Dhaka, ACP/Operations & Sh. Sanjeev Kumar ACP/Ashok Vihar was deployed to work on this case under the close supervision of DCP Sh. Bhisham Singh and was tasked to trace the accused persons.

SI Ravi Saini of AATS/NW led technical surveillance to zero down the suspected individuals. Advanced tracking techniques,
​During the course of investigation, a stolen motorcycle Make Splendor No. DL4S-DB-7925 used in crime, which was found to be stolen in case vide e-FIR No. 005696/2025 u/s 305(b) BNS PS Ranhola and scooty No. DL8S-CC-6461 of the deceased were recovered from the area of PS Alipur.

• Encounter:
On the suspect. When they signaled him to stop, the accused fired at the police party. In self-defense, the police party also f sustained a bullet injury over his right knee. Later, he was identified as Sahil S/o Sheru Khan R/o Village Kakod, Teh- Sikandrabad, Distt. Bulandsaher, U.P., Age- 22 years. Weapon of offence i.e., a country made pistol alongwith 02 empty cartridges & a live cartridge were recovered from his possession. The injured accused was immediately rushed to DCB Hospital, Bharat Nagar for medical intervention.

​Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 76/25 Dt. 03.03.2025 u/s 221/132/109(1) BNS & 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered at PS Ashok Vihar and investigation was taken up.

​On interrogation, he confessed his involvement in the robbery cum murder case of PS Ashok Vihar alongwith his associates. On his instance co-accused persons namely Mohd Faiyaaz @ Allen S/o Laaj Mohd R/o Rajeev Nagar, Bhalswa Dairy, Delhi, Age- 25 years & Deepak S/o Zaalim Ram R/o Bakoli, Alipur, Delhi, Age- 32 years were also arrested. Accused Sahil was found to be a novice criminal.

​Further efforts are being made to trace their remaining associates and their possible involvement in other cases also.

➢ Sahil S/o Sheru Khan R/o Village Kakod, Teh- Sikandrabad, Distt. Bulandsher, U.P., Age- 22 years.
➢ Mohd Faiyaaz @ Allen S/o Laaj Mohd R/o Rajeev Nagar, Bhalswa Dairy, Delhi, Age- 25 years.
➢ Deepak S/o Zaalim Ram R/o Bakoli, Alipur, Delhi, Age- 32 years.

• Recovery:-
✓ A country made pistol.
✓ 02 empty cartridges.
✓ 01 live cartridge.
✓ 01 stolen motorcycle Make Splendor No. DL4S-DB-7925 used in crime, which was found to be stolen in case vide e-FIR No. 005696/2025 u/s 305(b) BNS PS Ranhola was recovered from the area of PS Alipur.
✓ 01 scooty No. DL8S-CC-6461 of the deceased was recovered from the area of PS Alipur.
Criminals involved in Motorcycle theft have also been identified. Further investigation is in progress.
