Ivan Oesinger and Lorenzo Manquillet performs "Passacaglia" by Haendel/Halvorsen.
Recorded at Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon in November 2023.

THE PIECE
Originally written by the british composer Georg Friedrich Haendel, this passacaglia from the Suite n°7 in G minor was edited in 1720.
This famous theme and variations was arranged by Johan August Halvorsen for Viola and Violin.

DUO HAÏKAÏ
The french duo was founded by Ivan Oesinger and Lorenzo Manquillet in 2022 during their studies at CNSMD Lyon. Now based in Paris, they are mostly working on transcription of the Piano Repertoire for two marimbas.
