Civil Society Intervention - Canada Voluntary National Review 2023

Описание: The United Nations High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) is "the central platform for the follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the global level." The HLPF 2023, under the auspices of the Economic and Social Council, convened from July 10 to 20 in New York under the theme of "Accelerating the recovery from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development at all levels."

As part of the HLPF, selected countries are expected to deliver voluntary national reviews (VNRs) on their progress towards the SDGs and 2030 Agenda. The VNRs "aim to facilitate the sharing of experiences, including successes, challenges and lessons learned, with a view to accelerating the implementation of the 2030 Agenda."
