🧾 Ingredients

2 eggs

50 ml milk (1/4 cup)

80 ml vegetable oil (1/3 cup)

60 g sugar (1/4 cup)

320 g all-purpose flour (2 1/2 cups)

A pinch of salt

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon vanilla sugar

50 g chocolate, chopped (about 1/3 cup)

Extra sugar for rolling

👩‍🍳 Instructions

In a bowl, mix the eggs with sugar until combined.

Add milk and vegetable oil and mix well.

Add flour, salt, baking powder, and vanilla sugar.

Mix until a soft, smooth dough forms.

Add chopped chocolate and gently fold it in.

Divide the dough into parts.

Roll into ropes about 2.5–3 cm (1–1.2 inches) thick.

Cut into pieces 5–6 cm (2–2.5 inches) long.

Roll each piece in sugar.

Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15–20 minutes until lightly golden.
