Whenever I get a hard disk drive or two left over from some project, I usually disassemble them for parts. Mainly the magnets which are usually quite strong.
This is two different hard disk drives, one 2.5" and one 3.5". I have plans to butcher some more drives, I hope you'll enjoy the sounds as much as I do.
This is an ASMR video that was made for entertainment and relaxing purposes only. If this does not entertain nor relax you, I'm truly sorry.
The main camera used for filming this episode was a Sony A7RII recording in 4k 30p. The B-roll was shot using a Sony A6300 recording in 4k 30p. The sound was picked up on two Røde NT1-A condenser microphones and fed into a Zoom H5. All sound was edited in Audacity and all video was edited in DaVinci Resolve 16.
