Five years ago, LouLou had a CT scan for suspected appendicitis and ended up going into anaphylactic shock from the CT scan dye. From that moment, her system became acutely allergic to most "normal" environmental pollutants -- such as car exhaust and perfumes. After deciding to attend the Brighton Advanced Week Long Retreat, LouLou had to overcome her illness -- and her fear of being hospitalized yet again with anaphylaxis -- to even be in the room with the group.
