Two wanted accused in a double murder case registered at Khora Police Station were arrested in an injured condition during a police encounter by the Khora Police team. Two country-made pistols, 3 live cartridges, 3 spent cartridges, and one stolen motorcycle were recovered from their possession.

Details of the Police Encounter/Arrest
Today, on February 2, 2026, during checking at the Indirapuram underpass, information was received from an informant that two criminals wanted in a double murder case from Khora Police Station were roaming in the Khora police station area, planning to commit another crime. Upon receiving the information, our police force started checking. During the checking, two persons were seen coming from the Indirapuram side on a motorcycle. When the police team tried to stop them, seeing themselves surrounded by the police team and the police checking, the men turned the motorcycle sharply and started fleeing. The motorcycle skidded and fell. After that, the men ran towards the canal. When the police team chased them, they started firing at the police team with the weapons they were carrying, with the intention of killing them. In self-defense, during the police encounter, both the fleeing men were injured in their legs by gunfire and fell. They were arrested in an injured condition. The accused are wanted in case number 47/26 under sections 191(2)/191(3)/190/109(1)103(1) BNS 2023 registered at Khora Police Station.

Details of Interrogation
During interrogation, both the accused confessed that on January 30, 2026, they had killed two people and injured one near Ambedkar Gate. Both the arrested accused were immediately sent to the hospital for treatment. Names and Addresses of the Arrested Accused
