We spent a beautiful day at Westerway Raspberries Farm, just a one-hour drive from home. From a peaceful morning road trip to picking fresh berries, this visit was full of fun and great memories.
At the farm, the friendly staff explained the different types of berries and gave us a bucket to start picking. We tried and picked all kinds of berries, but the raspberries were our favorite! We spent around one and a half hours enjoying the farm and soaking in the natural surroundings.
After picking, we paid $15 per kilogram for our fresh berries, enjoyed a tasty lunch at the café, and relaxed with ice cream by the riverside before heading back home.
