Orange smog envelops Ottawa as Canada wildfires continue to fill skies

Описание: A blanket of orange haze was hanging over Canada’s capital Ottawa on Tuesday, as hundreds of wildfires burned in the country, leading to air quality warnings in there and in the US.

More than 150 active fires burning in the Canadian province of Quebec have forced thousands of evacuations and lowered air quality in the United States, officials said.

Dozens of fires remained active in neighboring Ontario and in Alberta, as high temperatures and dry conditions have contributed to an intense start to the wildfire season across central Canada.
