I completely just forgot that Cheng Yu existed during this run. That is why this run isn't technically a complete wipeout. But considering I was doing this with Sun Ce, this is probably the closest I'll get to a wipeout clear with him. My mind was hella locked in while using him to get this recording.

Sun Ce definitely got shafted in this game. Actually, he seems to get shafted in almost every game he's in. He has poor range, poor defensive options, and his fill game is inconsistent. Even with the Dragon Arms, he's still rather unsafe. His True Musou ending is also unsafe on an enemy officer's block. I've had many runs fail where I land the ending and the enemy officer blocks it. Then, they swipe at me because Sun Ce's recovery time isn't fast enough to avoid the strike.

I'm using his fourth weapon purely for the Musou Rage tokens. The Musou bonus on his fourth doesn't really do him any favors. He's probably more compatible with a shorter Musou bar. However, for a wipeout run, being able to sustain myself via Musou Rage is probably the only way I can do a proper run with him.

I do have an ITT weapon with Attack, Fill, Charge, and Speed. That weapon feels better to use, but no matter what, it's an uphill battle to use Sun Ce effectively on Chaos.

My main playstyle is to use C4-JA-cancel to fill his Musou bar. That's right, using C4 to thrust straight into enemy crowds. You have to be careful where you jump cancel to because the crowd can still swarm him after he scatters it. If the officer is isolated, C3 can be used to attempt to freeze them for his Musou. If he does get the freeze, his long Musou bar can kill enemy officers in a single Musou.

Once I hit red health, that is when hit-and-run becomes the main strategy. Trying to engage in crowds while in red health is really risky, so I try to limit to where I know I can Musou immediately afterwards or there is a safe place to jump. Although, red health doesn't feel like much of a buff when Sun Ce is really vulnerable after his Musou.

I have the Herbal Remedy equipped to help him fill his Musou with C4. I tried out the Wind Scroll, and the benefits honestly were not there.

Quite frankly, I don't know if I should bother to elaborate any further about Sun Ce on Chaos. I don't think many people have the patience to use him on Chaos, let alone do a wipeout run on a five-star difficulty stage. I did this out of pure delusion on my end.

A damn shame he isn't better on Chaos difficulty. He's one of my dad's favorites when we played together on PS2. It's pretty funny that my favorite character ended up being Daqiao.
